Background
Catie believed in equality + justice, and Vera does exactly that. She served on the board of trustees from 2006-2021 and from there was elected as an Honorary Trustee.
She also served on the board of trustees at BRIC until her untimely death. She loved what BRIC did for the community of Brooklyn; teaching kids how to be artists, beautiful public programming, and supplying Brooklyn with homegrown arts for all. Contribute to Vera Institute of Justice
