Catherine Harris, 59, of Rogersville TN passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2023. Catherine, daughter of Marilyn and Leonard, loving mother of Valerie and William, and sister of Mary Ellen passed away on May 30th at her home unexpectedly in Rogersville TN.

She was preceded in death by her parents Marilyn and Leonard Montalbano. She is survived by her two children Valerie (Michael) Sassone and William (Reyes) Rivera. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Giovanni and Viviana Sassone, and her sister, Mary Ellen (Mike) Allred.

In 1988, Catherine earned a bachelor of science in social welfare from Molloy College. In 1994, she was awarded a bachelor of science in nursing from Molloy College and began employment as a registered nurse at Stony Brook Hospital in New York. Catherine loved spending time with her grandchildren and participating in hobbies such as crocheting, reading, and shopping. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

The viewings will be held on Monday, June 5 from 2-4:30pm and 7-9:30pm at Mangano Family Funeral Home of Middle Island in New York.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 6 at 12pm at Saint Andrews Church in Sag Harbor, New York.
