Cathy Haraway, age 83. Catherine Weaver Haraway was born October 5, 1941, and died on June 9, 2025. She grew up in Osceola, Arkansas and graduated from Osceola High School. She graduated from the Baptist School of Nursing in Memphis, Tennessee in 1962 and married Marty Haraway. They shared the next 62 1/2 years. Cathy served as an R. N. at Glenwood regional medical center in West Monroe, Louisiana for more than 40 years. She retired from her role as Assistant Director of Nursing and moved with Marty to his hometown of Olive Branch, Mississippi in the summer of 1999, but continued to serve Glenwood Hospital on a temporary basis for many more years. She leaves her husband, Marty, son Killis Haraway, daughter Leelee Haraway Booker, and grandchildren Lucia and Sophie Booker.
