When Cathy’s family moved to Laguna Niguel she attended St Catherine of Siena’s  Grammar School. There she met my older sister (Gretchen Schlarb Novis) and older brother (Tony Schlarb). My sister and Gretchen and Cathy became best friends. Cathy live up the street from us and spent a lot of time with our family. So much time in fact that she is considered by all of us Schlarbs our ninth sibling. 😊

She was such a special aunt to me. I will miss her terribly and wish I hadn’t left her back in November last year when I knew things were going downhill. I still remember her as a kid taking me to Camel Point beach on weekends in her yellow VW singing Chicago songs the whole way there. I’m so saddened.

My heart is heavy on the loss of my sister Cathy.  So many good times.  I was 12 when Cathy was born.  She was smart, giving and happy!  She was the youngest of her brothers and sisters.

There was not a time in my life, for 25 years , that my life didn’t have Cathy Floyd attached to it. I loved her like a sister and I will miss her tremendously. Heaven has a new angel that will org great parties and all who meet this new angel will forever be happy ✝️
