Cathy's obituary
She was born to Jimmie Lee Goins and Anita Marie Gilmore on July 31, 1971. Cathy was a strong, independent, and hard working individual. She always motivated those around her with her physical and emotional strength. Cathy was also a very caring and giving person to those around her, even those she just met. She never said no to helping those she cared about nor anyone in need.
Cathy loved shopping for bargains and finding unique vintage and antique items. Her passion led her to open her own shop, where she became well known to the community for always having a story or just an open ear. Her hobbies included fishing, crocheting, and reading. Cathy also had an amazing love for animals. She took in many strays, rehomed them and would always adopt from shelters when she could.
The only thing she loved more in life was raising her children and grandchildren. She was a single parent and did everything she could to provide them with more than they could ever need. Some of her favorite things to do with them included; trips to the zoo, board games, reading books, holidays and spending quality family time with them.
She is survived by her father and mother: Jimmie Goins and Anita Gilmore, brother, Richie Goins, sons: Tommy Groshong, Tyler Goins, and Anthony Goins, and her grandchildren: Kain Groshong and Malachai McAllister.
