Catherine Ann "Cathy" Bloom, born on August 14, 1961, passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 26, 2024, in Greeley, Colorado.

Cathy dedicated her life to caring for others, a passion that defined both her personal and professional endeavors. She began her career as a nurse before transitioning to work as an animal caregiver, where her compassion and expertise made a lasting impact. For the past decade, Cathy found immense fulfillment working at Centennial Village in Greeley, a role she truly cherished.

Her love for animals was profound, and she found joy in horseback riding and crafting. Above all, Cathy treasured the time spent with her grandchildren and friends, creating memories that will be forever held close by those who knew her.

Cathy is survived by her son Bryce Bloom; her daughter Helena Hill; her daughter-in-law Autumn Bloom; her sister Marie Hall; and her cherished grandchildren Aspen and Willow Bloom. She also leaves behind dear friends Johnna Graves, Wanda Grimm, Wanda Weaver, and Cheryl Slattery, who were an important part of her life.

Cathy’s warmth, kindness, and adventurous spirit touched the lives of many. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May her memory bring comfort to those she held dear.

A memorial service to honor Cathy’s life will be held on February 8, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Centennial Village, located at 1475 A Street, Greeley, CO 80631.
