Catherine's obituary
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Catherine Ackles, a beacon of love, generosity, and warmth, whose memories will forever be etched in the hearts of the many lives she has touched. Catherine was born on November 13, 1936 and sadly left us on June 30, 2023.
Born to share love and spread joy, Catherine will be immensely missed by her sons: Anthony, Robert, Christian, Craig, and John Ackles. Catherine was the lifeline and heart of her family, and was adored by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Her unwavering faith was evident in her devoted attendance at the First Baptist of Bradenton Church. Catherine was a woman of strong faith, using it as her guiding principle in life and instilling the same values into her family.
Her love wasn't limited to her family alone. Catherine had a fondness for spending her leisure time surrounded by the beauty of her garden, tending to the blossoms as she did to the people around her. The tranquility and peace she found in her garden was a reflection of her serene and loving nature.
Catherine wore many hats with grace and poise, but the one she wore with the most pride was being a caring, warm, and loving mother. A woman who possessed an innate ability to understand and soothe, Catherine's nurturing presence will be deeply missed.
Having a heart that bled for the welfare of children, Catherine actively participated in causes related to children's care and foster families. She believed strongly in community outreach, a testament to her selfless personality. Catherine's commitment to these causes was as unwavering as her love for her family.
Leaving behind a legacy of honesty, faithfulness, and unconditional love, Catherine's teachings will continue to resonatively echo in the hearts of her loved ones. She lived a fulfilling life that was brimming with lessons for all.
Catherine's loving and radiant presence will be immensely missed but forever cherished. In our hearts, she will live forever. Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure. Catherine was loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.
