Catherina's obituary

Catherina “Tina” Yvette Manor

April 23, 1969 – February 19, 2025

Catherina “Tina” Yvette Manor, 55, passed away peacefully in her home on February 19, 2025, surrounded by her loving children.

Born on April 23, 1969, at Community Memorial Hospital in Ventura, Tina was a radiant soul who moved through life with grace, resilience, and an unwavering love for her family. Like a butterfly, she brought beauty and warmth wherever she went, always lifting those around her with kindness and joy.

Tina was the beloved daughter of Mary and the late Tommy. She is survived by her brother, Derick. She was a devoted mother to Alan, Jamil, Kayla, and Alana, and a proud grandmother to Camilla. She was also eagerly awaiting the arrival of her second grandchild, a source of excitement and happiness in her final months. Her love extended even to her cherished cat, Penelope, lovingly known as “P.”

Family was Tina’s greatest joy and her deepest purpose. She found fulfillment not only in watching her children grow and thrive but also in the everyday moments—holding them close, celebrating their successes, and always offering encouragement. She believed in them wholeheartedly, standing by their side with love and unwavering support.

Tina dedicated her career to nurturing and guiding young minds as a paraeducator. She was a patient and caring presence in the classroom, always ready to uplift and inspire. Her passions reflected her warm and creative spirit—she found joy in reading, stitching and crocheting, cooking and baking, and most of all, sharing time with those she loved.

To those who knew her, Tina was a beacon of kindness. She had a bubbly, loving personality, always putting others before herself. She never hesitated to help those in need, especially her family. Like a flower that bloomed with love, her presence brought light and joy to all who surrounded her.

Though her time here has passed, Tina’s love and spirit will always remain. Like the purple butterfly she embodied, she will continue to flutter into the lives of those she loved—reminders of her strength, her grace, and her endless devotion. And when she does, her family will embrace those moments, cherishing the love she so freely gave.

A service will be held Tuesday March 4th at 12pm.

Mom, your love is everlasting, and we will carry it with us always.
