Cassandra's obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cassandra (Crosby) Wagoner of Omaha, Nebraska. Cassandra passed away unexpectedly on May 5, 2025, with her children by her side.
Cassandra was born on October 12, 1973, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to Robert Crosby and Sandy Folsom. She did, however, always consider herself a Colorado native, having lived many of her best years there before moving to the Midwest.
Cassandra is survived by her daughter, Tomorrow Elbaum of Colorado, son, Tristan Elbaum of Colorado, as well as countless friends and loved ones. Cassandra is preceded in death by her parents.
Cassandra will be remembered for her huge heart and her immense love for her children. Cassandra loved nothing more than to make people feel loved. She was a people person, having never met a stranger. She had a gift that she could talk to anyone and everyone in a room full of people. In her quieter moments, her children loved that their mom loved to read, a love that she would pass on to her son. But Cassandra’s greatest love was her children. Her children will miss their calls with their mom that always ended with an “I Love You.” She found such joy in the amazing people that they are.
In remembrance of Cassandra and her loving heart, the family asks that you hug those you love tightly, say “I Love You” before you hang up the phone, extend a kind word to a stranger, read a story to your children, or simply find joy in the ones you love. “Death is a challenge. It tells us not to waste time... It tells us to tell each other right now that we love each other.”
A celebration of Cassandra’s life will be held on June 21, 2025, from 1:30-4 at the Bellaire Event Center, 8642 West Colfax Avenue, Lakewood, Colorado, 80215.
