It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cassandra "Cass" Mason on August 20, 2023. Born on January 7, 1981, Cassandra was a beautiful child/girl/woman with a heavy heart, and known for her kindness and indomitable spirit.

Cassandra loved animals in general, but cats meant the most to her. They loved her unconditionally and she loved them! Her latest cat, Otter, survived Cassandra and has a happy forever home.

Memorial events are private

Cassandra will always be loved and cherished by those who loved her. The family will not be organizing a formal memorial, as Cassandra knew and loved far too many people to include them all. There will be a private gathering of close friends and family to acknowledge her all too brief life. We welcome anyone who wishes to organize a memorial for her on their own. Her life was challenging, but she was a tender heart who deserves to be respectfully and carefully remembered.
