It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Cassandra Bortolami, born on July 10, 1981, who left us on April 27, 2023. A kind and loving individual, Cassandra left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew her. Her legacy of kindness will continue to inspire her family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Cassandra is survived by her devoted husband, Lorenzo Bortolami, and her loving children: Gabriel, Clarissa, Jonathan, Caesar, and Tony Castillo. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Amarie, Shine, and Lelia Bortolami. Cassandra's strong family bond extends to her dear granddaughter , Aleeza Jones, and her sister, Virginia Santos.

An attendee of Raleigh Church of Christ, Cassandra's kindness and loving personality were appreciated by her fellow church members. Throughout her life, she consistently practiced and shared valuable lessons, such as: "Treat others the way you want to be treated” This principle of empathy and compassion will always be remembered by those whose lives she touched.

As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate her life, recognizing the immeasurable impact she had on her family, friends, and community. Cassandra will be profoundly missed by her children, who have been left with a powerful example of kindness and strength. Her beautiful spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Rest in peace, Cassandra Bortolami. You will be forever missed, but never forgotten.
