Caryn's obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Caryn "Angel" Wester, fondly known as Angel, but preferred to be called Caryn. Born on the 24th of May, 1964, Caryn left us too soon on September 2, 2024.
Caryn was a loving mother, sister, and daughter. She is survived by her loving children; her daughter Julianna Keely and her son Jeffrey Vanderford. Caryn's light also continues to shine through her four siblings; Lynne Monroe, Mandy Hurt, Wendy Monroe, and Harry Monroe. She is predeceased by her beloved mother, Patricia Monroe, and is survived by her courageous father, Harry Monroe Sr.
A woman of simple pleasures, Caryn savored the sweetness of life, reflected in her favorite food - donuts. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her little dog, Paco, which showed her passion for animals and affectionate nature. Caryn also enjoyed playing games on her phone or tablet, and loved exploring the vast world of online shopping on Amazon.
To Caryn, the color pink was not just a color, but a symbol of compassion, love, and care; qualities that she embodied. Caryn loved her little dog more than anything else in this world. Her affection for Paco was a symbol of her generous heart and the unconditional love she extended to her friends and family. She was, indeed, the embodiment of love, warmth, and care.
Even in her absence, Caryn's influence and love continue to be felt by those whose lives she touched. Her memory will ever remain in our hearts. As we grieve, we will also celebrate her life and the pure joy she brought into our world.
