Carter's obituary

Carter Rutledge, 15, of Knoxville, Tennessee, took his life on September 7 2020 after a battle with Depression.

Carter was born on March 10 2005 to Daniel and Nicole Rutledge in Knoxville, Tennessee. Carter attended South Doyle High School and was passionate about Math and Band.

Carter was also extremely passionate about Art and would oftentimes be found at his house painting or drawing.

Carter met his best friends at school and enjoyed spending time playing video games with them.

Carter is survived by his Mom, Nicole Rutledge; two brothers, Gregory and Brendan Rutledge; Grandfather, James Rutledge; Grandparents, Renee and Benjamin (Benny) Lawton; Aunts and Uncles, Amanda and Ryan Olson, Megan and Travis King, Andrew Rutledge, Steven and Julie Lawton; Cousins, Porter, Kylee, and Dalton Olson, Leah and Ruby King, and Anthony Lawton; Niece, Ophelia Rutledge.

The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home. There will be a funeral service on Friday, September 11 2020 at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home.
