Carroll R. Westby 75, Abilene, KS passed away January 23, 2020.

Carroll was born March 24th, 1944 to Thomas and Fern (Bales) Westby. He graduated high school in South Dakota. Married Eleanor (Graf) Lauxman July 8, 1978 in Abilene. Carroll (CW) enjoyed being a Cubmaster and loved OTR trucking while working for various companies and retired from Bradleys Trucking in 2011 and received their 2 million mile club award in 2008.

Carroll will be missed and remembered by his wife Ellie Westby, their 5 children Jerry (Wanda), Tracy, Gary and Dustin Westby all of Abilene and Christina (Brent) Kriegh of Salina. 14 grandchildren Anthony (Ying) Westby, Joshua Westby, Gabrielle (Brett) Hinkson, Issiah Westby, Patience Westby, Adam Westby, Adele Taylor, Bradley Taylor, Taran Westby, Zoel Reitz, Zozen Reitz, Zazzy Reitz, Jordy Kriegh and Kadem Kriegh and one great grandchild Sophia KayeAnn Persing-Taylor, sister Jean and brothers Dallas, Doyle, Curtis and Clair.

Carroll was preceded in death by his parents, sister Linda, brothers Meryln, Myron, Jerry, Jim (Whitey) and Warren, one grandson Zayne Thomas Westby.

Carroll was cremated and the family will have a graveside service on his Birthday.
