Carrie Shipman Emerson, 44, of a lovely quaint farm-filled area of Mechanicsville, MD , passed away on March 01, 2023, after a short battle with devastating injuries acquired in a vehicular accident.

Carrie, born on May 22, 1978 to two loving parents in Alexandria, VA, was a bundle of joy from the very beginning. Carrie enjoyed pastimes such as reading, speeding time with her family, in her early age and as she grew into her teenage years, her focus shifted into focusing on schoolwork as most young people and she met Michael in these early years falling pregnant with their first child when Carrie was just 16. Carrie did her best to acquire her diploma as quickly as possible so she could focus on raising her young son and go to work, in this she succeeded being able to leave school just after her sons birth when she was 17. It was at this time that she moved to St. Mary's County MD with her parents and her soon to be spouse Michael the two had continued fall further in love and were a match made in heaven, going on to have another child in Bryana. Being a mother was one of the most important parts of Carrie’s life, a role that gave her much pride and joy. She was an excellent mom, supportive, kind, hilarious, and witty and we will all miss his dearly.

Carrie was predeceased by her beloved husband Michael Emerson. She is survived by  her loving children Jonathon and Bryana Emerson.
