Carrie Lee (Wright) Meding, of Federalsburg, Maryland, peacefully passed away at home on October 5, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was 78. 

Carrie was born in Williamsburg, Dorchester County, Maryland to the late James Albert Wright and Mary Edith (Wroten) Wright. She is survived by her son Steven Hubble of Federalsburg, Maryland and his wife Helena, a son David Harrington of Ridgely, Maryland and his wife Karen. Additionally, a brother Glenwood Wright of Easton, Maryland, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. 

Carrie is preceded in death by her late-husband Kenneth Marvin Hubble, whom she was married to for over 25 years. Later, Carrie married Richard Dale Meding of Laurel, Delaware. They were married for over 25 years as well, until his passing in 2017. Additionally, she is preceded  in death by two older brothers: James Edward Wright of Philadelphia and William Carl Wright of Palmyra, N.J.

Carrie enjoyed gardening, flower arranging, cooking, and demonstrated her artistic abilities in ceramics and painting. An avid cat lover, Carrie always found room in her heart for hungry stray cats and was seldom without a pet cat in her home.
Carrie had strong Christian faith and was excited about meeting the Lord and being reunited with her family members who passed before her. She was a wonderful, caring, and loving mother.
