I worked with Carrie since the 90's and am just now learning of her passing.  Carrie always had a smile and a kind word for everyone as well as a sharp sense of humor!! Along with our Basell co-workers, Maureen and Debbie, we referred to ourselves as the "Girls in the Hood."  The neighborhood is a little lonely without our good friend. I am privileged to have been touched by her spirit. Rest in peace my friend.
I haven’t seen Carrie in years, but am remembering her beautifully kind spirit and the sweet soul that she was... always smiling and laughing. We can have joy in knowing without a doubt that Carrie is with the Lord praising and worshiping. We sang on the praise team together in Delaware. My condolences to her loved ones. 💜
My prayers are with Carrie's family.  I got to know Carrie at Northway Baptist Church in Dallas and was forever blessed by knowing her. Heaven has gained a very special angel.

I met Carrie at Northway Baptist Church in Dallas. She was always up beat and loving. She will be missed and always fondly remembered.
God has not put a more precious soul on this earth than Carrie!  She was one of the first people I met after joining Northway Baptist and the singles group in 1984!  She never uttered an unkind word and was gracious, forgiving, playful, witty, and just a joy to be around.  I have very fond memories of our times on mission trips in the summers, outings to Bennigan's or Chili's after Sunday night services, and the, never to be forgotten, Living Christmas Tree extravaganza we all participated in every year!!!!  Such great memories we all made together.  God welcomed home a true angel He put here on earth for a while to watch over the rest of us who needed it.  I can see our Lord embracing Carrie and saying, "Well done, my good and faithful servant...  Your loss is great, so I pray you will be comforted by knowing Carrie brought joy and light to peoples' lives every day just by being her- loving others as Christ would.  I'm a better person for having met and known Carrie.

As a tribute to Carrie’s positivity, strength and positive outlook on life, I was not aware of her physical challenges even though I was around her at numerous functions through Northway Baptist singles.  She was not one to let herself be pitied or to project anything but her effervescent personality that exhibited her love for people, her sense of humor and her selfless friendship.  These enviable traits were rooted in her love for Jesus.  A very genuine person who put aside her own problems to put others first.

I knew this precious lady when we were single adults at Northway Baptist Church, Dallas, TX and enjoyed any time ever spent with her around.  She could crack me up so easily and usually so unexpectedly.  I loved ALL her gifts that she shared so abundantly & lovingly.  She WILL be missed, and I thank God for allowing the 'gift of her' into my life!!
