Background
Mom was originally diagnosed with Parkinson's, which was later revised to Lewy Body Dementia after having surgery due to a fall and broken hip. Due to the late diagnosis with Lewy Body Dementia she was in the later stages of the disease. Helen Metzger with the Northern California Lewy Body Support group help us navigate the later stages and symptoms, along with prepare us for what to expect.
Donations will help with research of this highly misdiagnosed disease and allow for earlier detection and better training for healthcare professionals with this complicated disease. Contribute to Lewy Body Dementia Association
