A celebration of life is planned with a brief service at 11:00 AM in the Barstow LDS chapel. The intent is to have this stream through a service for those who are not able to attend and wish to remember Carolyn. A luncheon after the service will be held to celebrate her life and share remembrance and love.

When Carolyn Tarbox was born on 14 December 1962, in Wasco, Kern, California, United States, her father, Lewis Russell Tarbox, was 36 and her mother, Marilyn West, was 30. She grew up and attended school in Barstow, California, graduating from Barstow High School in 1981. She played the flute in the band, sang in the choir, and was on the yearbook staff in high school.
