Carolyn was my dearest friend during our two years together at SIPA (Columbia U) from 1997-1999. In addition to so many fun times in NYC, we had ridiculous amounts of fun on ski trips and a very memorable beach trip during the school years. We celebrated graduation with a trip together to Germany and the Netherlands (along with close friend Mike Peters). And we stayed in regular touch over the 25 years since graduation though I didn't see her nearly enough during my many years of living overseas. I was so fortunate to be able to see her three times in the past year, including for a bucket list trip to Red Rocks in Colorado. Carolyn exuded positivity and love and light and I am a better person because she was my friend. She will be forever missed.

It was such a pleasure to work with Carolyn many moons ago (she was fun, sharp and passionate about her work).  Very sorry to hear this news... Way too young, and such a loss.
Carolyn was a wonderful colleague and fascinating individual, taken from us much too soon.  My deepest sympathies to her loved ones.
I have so many wonderful memories from my time working with Carolyn! She was as spirited as she was spiritual, and her care for others was inspiring. She will be greatly missed in this world by so many!
My deepest condolences go out to everyone who knew and loved Carolyn, and especially to her beloved son, Miles. I worked with Carolyn at the LBJ School for many years, she was a great mentor to me and also a wonderful friend. When you were in her presence, she listened so deeply and made you feel so loved.
We are sending Carolyn's family, especially Miles, our love.  Carolyn was such an inspiration and a ray of sunshine everywhere she went.

Jack and Betty, We are so sorry the pain  you and Carolyn have endured the past several years.  She has been an impactful inspiration to our family.
