We are so impressed with the photos especially the horned owls Carolyn discovered on her walks and convinced others those owls were real and not something she imagined.   We will remember her for her gentle kindness and bright smile.  Our thoughts are with the Arterburn family with deepest sympathy.

Carolyn was a wonderful and sweet neighbor in the Heather Gardens community, where I knew her.  She  was a friend to all of us there.

My favorite stories Carolyn would tell pride of Nancy being a Daddy's girl,  of  Dave's musical talent and being drum major  and how proud of John finding his way to his lasting career  and my personal favorite the story of her return from Europe and Larry meeting her at the airport.  My favorite experience with Carolyn was taking her to see Les Miz at the DCPA.
