There are so many wonderful memories of Carol-her warmth, her generosity and kindness. She was a real blessing to all of us. She and my mother, Georgie, spent many mornings and afternoons over coffee. How I looked forward to those moments knowing we were growing up with the best neighbors you could ever wish for. We laughed a lot, and she made all the difference in our neighborhood. May she Rest In Peace.

I just like this picture of her. She loved to sit outside and watch the birds and enjoy fresh air.

So many childhood memories at your home. Mealtime with Carol’s good cooking, hosting Bluebird meetings at the house, watching your mom and dad bowl, oh how they loved to bowl. Always good times with them. May she rest in light and love and I know she is with Bud, and the boys now. God Bless them all.

You have my condolences and prayers. I have distant memories with your mom but she was always a sweetheart and made it obvious that she loved you dearly. Now she is an angel who I’m sure will continue to look after you.

I met Carol when I was 19 and needed childcare for my daughter. That was the beginning of a long friendship. She provided care for my children an the loved her. They called her Mama Carol. We remained friends even though I moved away. As we got older the Christmas cards and phone calls got farther apart but we remained friends to the end. I know she is in heaven with loved ones that went before. Gods blessings and prayers for peace and comfort to the family

Alan Jackson - Sissy's Song
Why did she have to go
So young I just don't know why
Things happen half the time
Without reason, without rhyme
Lovely, sweet young woman
Daughter, wife and mother
Makes no sense to me
I just have to believe
She flew up to heaven on the wings of angels
By the clouds and stars and passed where no one sees
And she walks with Jesus and her loved ones waitin'
And I know she's smilin' sayin', don't worry 'bout me
Loved ones she left behind
Just tryin' to survive
And understand the why
Feelin' so lost inside
Anger shot straight at God
Then askin' for His love
Empty with disbelief
Just hopin' that maybe
She flew up to heaven on the wings of angels
By the clouds and stars and passed where no one sees
And she walks with Jesus and her loved ones waitin'
And I know she's smilin' sayin', don't worry 'bout me
It's hard to say goodbye
Her picture in my mind
Will always be of times I'll cherish
And I won't cry 'cause
She flew up to heaven on the wings of angels
By the clouds and stars and passed where no one sees
And she walks with Jesus and her loved ones waitin'
And I know she's smilin' sayin', don't worry 'bout me
Don't worry 'bout me
Don't worry 'bout me
