Carole's obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Carole Kellogg, a loving mother, sister and friend who entered eternal peace on February 26, 2026. Born on August 19, 1948 to Lawrence and Kathleen Stevenson, Carole lived an ennobling life characterized by love, strength, and faith.

Carole was predeceased by her beloved husband, Douglas Kellogg, her father, Lawrence Stevenson, her mother, Kathleen Stevenson, and her sister, Mary Jane Cadigan. She is survived by her four loving children: daughters Denise Rios, Christina Holland and sons Mark and Douglas Kellogg Jr. She also leaves behind her brother Edward Stevenson and the pride of her life, her six grandchildren.

Carole’s most cherished moments were those spent with her family. She found immense joy and purpose in nurturing her children and grandchildren. Her favorite pastime, therefore, was being surrounded by them, sharing stories, laughter, and love.

Carole was often described as a woman of quiet strength with an unwavering faith. Her love was unconditional, a trait that she instilled in her children. It is this lesson of unconditional love that forms a core part of her legacy; a legacy that will continue to influence and guide her family.

Perhaps Carole's most significant accomplishment, and the one she was most proud of, was her family. This achievement was not marked by notice or accolades but was lauded in the love and respect her family held for her. Her legacy will not just be seen in the continuous lineage, but in the quiet strength and sense of family she has ingrained in them.

In tribute to Carole's memory, her family and friends are comforted by remembering her love, her faith, and her indomitable spirit. Her memories will continue to be a beacon of strength and love for all who were fortunate to know her.
