Some Friends and I were just talking about how much fun Carole was. We were talking about our trips to Monterey California Jazz Festival and our visits to the surrounding towns. Carole was the life of all these places! We miss her smile and laugh so much. Rest in Peace Carole! Keep them laughing up there! Love You! Beverly and Bob

My condolences to Carole’s family. I met her when I came to Revere as a young teacher in 1967. We immediately became friends and she helped in my first years as a teacher. (I just learned of her passing 3/2024.)

Our annual group trips included Acapulco, Jazz Cruises, Union Pier @ Joyce's and the Monterey Jazz Festival. For years, we went and acted like each trip was our first. Food, drink and music were always on the agenda. I can hear Carole saying, "It's 5:00 O'clock somewhere". Our times together were special and Happy Memories Live Forever.

CJ, was a great classmate of mine through our 1954 graduation from Corpus Christi grammar school in Chicago. She was a notable as a cheerleader with Diane Samuels that inspired us basketball team to win the St. Anselm 1954 Basketball tournament - our in 8th grade year. We resumed our academic careers together in college- she at CTC, me at Loyola; she as an AKA Ivey, me as a A Phi A Sphinxman. Her line that included Phala Daniel pledged cucurrently with us over 6 months in 1960. We, as Sphinxman, helped her & her line cross into Beta chapter a month before they hosted our Alpha neophyte party 30 July 1960 at the Old Alpha House on South Park. We continued to enjoy & collaborate on our Divine 9 presence over these 63 years.
CJ was a MARVELOUS PRESENCE in close to 80 years of myife. I still recall Papa Jones in a rocking chair on their front porch room at 7601 S. Vernon in Chatham waiting for Carole to return home from one of our famous Greek Pledge Parties. He was on vigilantly guard there to make sure Warren Brown or other college suitors didn't steal a good night kiss or hug escorting her to their front door. We often joked about Papa Jones securing tooth picks to prop open his eye lids so he wouldn't fall
as😴Leeper & could watch her into the front door.
True Story...or close to it from my recollection.
