Carol Lynn Wild died in Cave Junction, Oregon early in the morning of April 22, 2024 on Earth Day.  She is survived by her sons Todd, Greg, daughter-in-law, Anita; grandson,  Zach, grand daughter-in-law, Whitney, a great-grandson, and her sister, Jan Rehder and nieces, Sara and Rachel.   Her parents, John and Jane Weaver, preceded her in death.  

 Born on a farm in Canoga Park, California on Christmas Eve, 1942. Carol graduated Canoga Park High School in 1960. Soon after she became a dancer and showgirl in San Francisco and Las Vegas in the early 1960s. She met Leon Goodman whom she later married in 1966. They were married for 12 years and raised 2 children together, Greg and Todd.

Carol was an avid gardener, reader, activist and nature enthusiast. She had been a realtor for many years but got creative and started several successful clothing and jewelry businesses. She had worked on and been active on many political campaigns including the Equal Rights Amendment that women are still waiting for. She was passionate about human rights, equality, diversity, protecting our environment and Peace on Earth which she advocated for and defended to the very end.

 Carol was consoled and surrounded by family and friends, including some of the dogs that loved her and she loved so much.  She will be missed beyond words can say, immeasurably and with almost disbelief that she has left this world. For those that knew her, Carol will always be in our hearts and memories, never to be forgotten.
