Carol Seabrook of Batavia, Il passed in the early morning of July 29,2024, one day into her 84th year. She is survived by her son Edward Pawlak, daughter Joanne Pawlak, her grandchildren, Sarah and Melissa and her great grandson Daniel. Carol was a long time resident of Addison, Illinois. She was a volunteer for the Addison PD. where she coordinated volunteers for a variety of police department programs. She was a long time president of the Illinois Insurance Adjusters Association. As a result of this, Carol had many friends, neighbors and professional acquaintances. .She was well respected in the Addison PD, and in the insurance industry. Carol was a giving person to all . She was a great cook when she was able. Possessing a sharp wit and quick mind, she was rarely at a loss for words...Reason, common sense and straight talk ruled her world.. She had little tolerance for nonsense. Possessing a well honed sense of propriety, and grace, she was a great source of guidance and comfort....Her elegance, humor and wit will be missed by all who knew her.....
