Mrs. Brakel and Mrs. Young I also send my deepest condolences and was so sorry to read of the loss of Carol. She was a also a mentor to me, and I too I had the pleasure of spending time with her in her home and had such a wonderful day learning from her! She was so vivacious, and very dedicated to helping others! Carol leaves a lasting legacy of so many wonderful placements of families and training and mentoring of staff, of which I am fortunate enough to be a part of. I will never forget her. Mrs. Brakel and Mrs. Young I am so sorry to read of The loss of your sister, Carol. She was a mentor to me in many ways. I have been concerned for her for many weeks as she had not answered my correspondences to her. Carol and I knew each other thru our profession but became friends a few years ago. I had the pleasure of spending time with her in her home on several occasions and fellin love with Pumpkin! I hope Pumpkin has a home now that Carol has gone. She had asked at one time that I take Pumpkin. If that is needed please reach out to me. I will contact the funeral home and leave my name and number should a home still be needed for Pumpkin. Carol represented our industry with such professionalism and helped many become successful in the field. I know you were most proud to call her family and sister. Peggy VanMeter
