I am Jane's sister and met Carol through her and Glen.  At our Garage Sales and at the lake in Perryville.  I am so sorry for your loss.  Hope you all got to spend a lot of time with her when she moved to I believe Kentucky.  My husband and I will not be able to make it but you all are in our prayers and you get through this loss.  Take care

This just popped into my head as I'm trying to get ready for the day. Whenever the movie "The Help" came out it was a powerful story about black women being the helpers in white families and their influence on the young minds that grew and the dynamic of the south back then. Anyways, it was this movie that had a specific quote that one of the main characters said to the little girl in the white family she served for and said "You are smart, you are kind, you are important" and made that little girl repeat it after her. More so in joking on how the woman said it with a southern drawl but also the message mom and I would constantly repeat that to each other to remind each other that you are kind, you are smart, and you are important".

I was trying to wash my face and not let the sad thoughts come in and that quote came to mind and it was like she was telling me from afar...

Miss you everyday momma

I'm so sorry for the loss of Carol. I'll always think of her whenever I read a book or listen to music, especially Matchbox Twenty. She was always fun to be around and easy to confide in. I always knew I could talk to her about anything and knew she would never judge me. Carol was someone I could trust and she always made me laugh -Shawna

I will always think of my Nana when I listen to K-Pop Music and When I watch 13 going on 30 because she was the first person I ever watched it with and She always found a way to make me feel better without even having to try - Jossalyn

Momma Carol you are gone, but never forgotten.  We miss you already!
