We want to extend our sincerest gratitude to everyone who has been sending us their condolences and lifting us up in prayer during this difficult time. Mom was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia about six months ago, and she really declined fast. Her passing came far sooner than we ever imagined it would. We are extremely grateful to the loving and caring staff at Monte Vista Grove Homes, where Mom and Dad moved in 2015. We will miss her terribly, but we have joy knowing she'll be dancing and singing for eternity with her Lord and Savior!

Carol Irene Basler was born in Ogden Utah – the first child of Virginia and Herman Basler. Herman was a chiropractor and the pioneer of Southern California nursing homes. Virginia served alongside Herman in the nursing homes while raising Carol and her sister Nancy, born two years later.
