Carol Marie Macone (Chase), 69, of Cape Coral, FL, formerly from Concord, MA, died on September 11th, 2022, after a valiant battle with cancer, at home surrounded by her family. Carol was born on April 29, 1953, in Arlington, MA to Charles and Helen Chase. She grew up in Concord where she met and married her high school sweetheart, William Macone.

She had a successful career in banking both at Middlesex Bank in Concord and then finishing as a Vice President at Riverside Bank in Cape Coral and then remained very busy while "semi-retired" in Real Estate.

She enjoyed working out, reading, spoiling her granddaughter, but most of all spending time with her family and friends. She was patient, kind, generous and a wonderful person to be with. She drew people together and was always there in times of need. To know her was to love her, we will never be able to fill the void she left behind.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 47 years, William Macone; her loving children, Christina (Johnathan) Negron and Scott Macone; her treasured granddaughter, Mariyah Lyn Negron; her beloved brothers, Kenneth (Barbara) Chase, Raymond (Pam) Chase, and David (Cheryl) Chase; her cherished in-laws, Nicholas Macone, Jody (late husband, Robert) Smith, Betsy (David) Bautista, Marcia (Gordy) Lange, Kathleen Macone Mock, Timothy (Helen) Macone; and numerous nieces and nephews that she loved so much.

A gathering will be held on Saturday, September 24th from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm at Fuller Metz Cremation & Funeral Services, 3740 Del Prado Blvd., Cape Coral, FL 33904, followed by a Celebration of Life from 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm at The Westin Cape Coral Resort at Marina Village, 5951 Silver Kind Blvd., Cape Coral, FL 33914.
