Carol, I still think about you sometimes and miss you. I just carry on anyway. Thanks for being my friend. Love, Debbie
I am so very sorry to hear about Carol.  She was a beautiful person inside and out, not to mention very talented.  She was definitely taken way to soon.

I am sorry and sad to see this news, we are very detached from HB these days and just seeing this sad news. Want to send love and good memories to you and we have so many fond memories of you  all when Nicole, Lindsay amd Ashley were growing up together. Sincere condolences to you…. Nice fun memories :-)))
So sorry for your loss. I enjoyed her music with Bobby Vinton for many years. She will be missed. My condolences

A few fourth-grade girls didn't want to go out for recess on a really cold day. Instead, we stayed in and sang with Carol as our accompanist. We learned the parts to A Thousand Stars and had such a good time, we kept getting together for more songs.

When spring finally arrived, all but 3 of us decided it was warm enough to go out. We 3 cousins, Carol, Denise, and I, kept singing together for the next 8 years. We performed at school, church, Farmers Union annual meetings, talent shows and contests, pretty much anywhere we were asked.

We were spoiled for life with Carol as our "sure I can transpose it" accompanist. I was disappointed to learn later that not all pianists could do that. LOL

Our 50-year high school class reunion is this summer, and I sincerely wish Carol was going to be there in person. I know she will be there in spirit, especially if there is a piano anywhere close.

Dear Kubis Family,

I’m so sorry for your loss. Loosing a loved one in death is extremely hard to deal with. But in the Bible, God promises to bring our dead loved one’s back to life. (John 5: 28,29) During this difficult time, a strong hope in God’s promises will help you to endure. And through endurance, you will experience that grand future in which Jehovah will “give you the requests of your heart.” He will satisfy “the desire of every living thing.” (Psalm 37:4)

Carol loved music, people, life, she was like my sister, I will miss her very much!

I met up with Carol in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.  This was my first airplane trip out of ND.  She was singing with Bobby Vinton there and I got to see her in concert with him.  Later that Spring, I was going to be married and she honored us by singing at our wedding.  (We were 2 of 4 cousins on our mothers' side all the same age.)
