Carol Ann Hoy went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 13, 2021. Carol Ann Hoy was born on August 12, 1946. Carol was the daughter of the late Robert McPherrin Zimmerman and Marguerite Valenti Zimmerman. She was preceded in death by her older brother Robert McPherrin Zimmerman Jr and sister Linda Johnson. From the tender age of 5yrs old Carol was raised by Anna Mason Zimmerman who loved her, as her own child and helped her through all her young years as a child and young adult. Carol Ann grew up in Mt Union, Huntington county and attended Captain Jack Highschool and graduated in 1965.
Carol Ann moved to Bellefonte, Pa in 1976 where she remained. Carol Ann loved Bellefonte and taking long walks and being outdoors and she made friends with everyone she met, she was known for her great smile and her vibrant youthful spirit. She loved music and reading books and past that on to both of her sons. She had a big heart and always wanted to help others and share whatever she had with whoever needed it. She loved cats and had a cat named Patches whom she spent most of her time with, she loved doing word searches and puzzles and talking on the phone to her family and friends. She loved her family and all her nephews and nieces. "We miss her now and our hearts are sore, as time goes by, we will miss her more. " Carol Ann Hoy is survived by her two sisters: Leslie Zimmerman residing in Lewistown, Pa and Vickie Huntley residing in San Gabriel, Ca. Along with her two sons: William A. Hoy and his wife Katina Hoy in Altoona, Pa and Robert E. Hoy and his wife Bethany Hoy in Erie, Pa.
