Carol L Hobin-Powers, 74, Longtime resident of Wood Dale, IL passed away Friday, June 19, 2020 at home surrounded by those who loved her. She was born on April 8, 1946 the Daughter of Robert and Alice (Ashley) Hobin, Beloved wife of Thomas Powers; loving mother of Susan Calhoun, Donald Calhoun, Brian Powers, Michael Powers. proud grandmother of 12 Grandchildren. Sister to Wayne Hobin, Delaine (Michael) Mallie, Michael (Lisa) Hobin and James Just. Aunt to many.

She was preceded in death by her late parents including (William Just biological Father) and her sweet granddaughter, Kristy Calhoun.

A wake will be held at Geils Funeral Home, 260 W Irving Park Rd, Wood Dale, IL 60191 on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on the following morning, Thursday, June 25, 2020 also at Geils Funeral Home, Wood Dale, IL at 11:00 AM and interment will follow at Glen Oaks Cemetery in Hillside, IL.
