It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Carol Hickman, a truly beloved woman known for her warm and sweet personality. Born on December 15, 1945, Carol left us peacefully on January 27, 2026, leaving a void that can never be filled.

Carol leaves behind a strong family legacy that includes her devoted husband, William Hickman, and their  children, Kristine Delp (Mike), Heather Pearson (Matt)   and William Hickman (Sara ). As well as 10 grandchildren - Nathan Pearson, Frankie Nicotira, Elise Pearson, Will Hickman, Jack Hickman, Camille Pearson, Adam Delp,  Grant Hickman,  Annette Pearson and  Julianne  Delp. Her memory will continue to inspire and guide them. Moreover, her sisters Terri Beckner (Jim) and Nancy Ney mourn Carol's loss, but find comfort in the unforgettable moments they shared.

Carol was predeceased by her  parents, Martin and Rita Ney, her brothers, James and Martin Ney, her sister, Joanne Ney, and deeply missed granddaughter, Colette Pearson. She now rests with them.

Carol's favorite pastime was spending quality time with her family. Whether hosting  dinners or celebrating holidays, Carol was the heart of all family gatherings. She stressed the importance of kindness and the importance of family .

A memorial mass to honor Carol's life will be held on March 13, 2026, at 10am  at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church. 606 Shore Road Somers Point NJ 08244. As we remember Carol, we celebrate a life well-lived and a woman well-loved. Her lasting legacy of love will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.

May she rest in peace, forever surrounded by the love she so freely gave in life.
