I’m so sorry. I wish I had the right words to ease the sadness you are feeling and heal the hole in your heart for the loss of your wife, your mother, your grandmom and your sister.
When Billy and Carol were dating I was a child. Carol took me to the movies. She went all out, bought soda and popcorn too! Believe it or not but that day is a day I will never forget. I felt so special! Prior to that day my experience had been piling into a station wagon with my siblings and snacks to see a movie at the Drive in. Maybe she wanted to cover all bases. I made up my mind that day. I definitely wanted my brother to marry her!
Carol always loved me. She didn’t judge me. She accepted me as me. I loved my sister. I will always remember her gentleness, her tender eyes and the sweet funny way she smiled.
Carol, you will live on in the hearts of everyone you gently touched. You will be missed dearly but never forgotten.

Carol was much loved by my parents, Regina and Bill Hickman, for her thoughtfulness, generosity and kindness Carol became a sister-in-law her when she married my brother Bill, through the years she became a third sister. My children had great affection for their Aunt Carol for she was always pleased to see them. Carol enjoyed family get togethers, we all did, bustling around the kitchen , eating cleaning and laughing. I regret not living closer and missed getting to know all the grandchildren and stealing kids to have fun with. I dont know where the time goes, writing this with tears, I wish we could do it all again. My love to Billy, Heather, Kristine and little Billy. Regina Hickman Delp
