Carol's obituary

Carol Jean Herrera  85 years and resident of Boise, Idaho. Ended her long time battle with Alzheimer's on October 16th, 2015. She was at home at the time she peacefully passed with her family by her bedside.

Carol was born to her father Frank and her mother Eleanor Kuntz in St. Paul Minnesota on September 16th, 1930. She was an only child in her family.She worked as an receptionist for State Farm in her teens. She graduated from Monroe High School in 1949.

She married twice in her life time first to Glenn Weeks which ended in divorce.Then to Floyd Herrera and remained widowed.

Carol had conceived 5 children her life Sandi Lovely (Weeks), Medford, Oregon, Deborah Weeks, Paula Stevens (Weeks), Ft. Collins, Colorado Floyd "Mike" Herrera loveland Colorado and Kathleen Lumbert (Herrera) Boise, Idaho. She had 11 grandchildren and 11 Great grandchildren. Her cousins Marilyn(MN), Joan(MN) and Elaine (FL)Carol lived in Wyoming, Missouri, Colorado, South Dakota and Idaho in her lifetime. She had variety employment as a housekeeping, janitorial and food service. She enjoyed her cat Kozy, did gardening and planting. She loved to travel and do horseback riding, swimming and dancing in her spare time. Her greatest joy of all was spending time with family and listening to country music. Carol wanted to shared on last quote with everyone she loved and knew. " To LIVE AND LOVE LIFE TO THE FULLEST"

Preceded in death: Eleanor Kuntz, Deborah Weeks, Frank Kuntz, Floyd Herrera, Robert Rogers (grandson), Glenn Weeks followed by other cousins on her father and mother's side of the family.

A funeral mass will be on Tuesday October 20th, 2015 at St. Mark's Catholic Church in Boise Idaho at 11AM.

Memorial Contributions for the family are welcomed at St. Mark's Church and flowers
