Carol's obituary

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of  Carol Fiorini, a loving mother, grandmother, and sister who left us too soon on August 29, 2024. Born on August 14, 1953, Carol graced our lives with her presence for 71 beautiful years.

Carol was a radiant and vivacious woman, known for her selfless love, outspoken nature, and infectious laughter. She was a beacon of strength and courage, and she showed us how to love without restraint, to laugh without inhibition, and to live without regret. Her spirit was and will be a guiding light that will continue to shine even in her absence.

Carol shared many lessons during her lifetime, the most profound being to always love your family and stay together.  Her view on life was not just about surviving the storm, but learning to dance in it. She carried these words throughout her life and left a lasting impression on all those who had a chance to meet her.

The memories of Carol that we cherish in our hearts will forever be imprinted by her two daughters, Kimberly Fiorini and Natalie Fiorini; her three  grandsons, Christopher Fiorini, Jesse Fiorini, and Adrian Fiorini; her five granddaughters, Maliea Pouesi, Roni Pouesi, Ashlei Hall,  Alexia Hall, and Aubrey Fiorini; as well as her two surviving sisters, Yolanda Garcia and Connie Sabo.

Her grandchildren left a memory or quote to remember her by as follows.

Christopher Fiorini -" She was the most important person in my life and gave everything if her grandkids needed it." Jordan King-" She welcomed me into the family and loved me as one of her own."

Jesse Fiorini- "One step at a time." Brea Gardner “Nonnie always showed me so much love, I'm so grateful. I will always remember her humor and spicy way about her.”

Adrian Fiorini-"I love you Nonnie. I will miss you."

Ashlei Hall-“Now I’ll be watching our favorite movies alone & missing your Ooohh Lala’s everytime you seen Patrick Swayze and Elvis. You are the queen of a glam day with a hot mocha espresso. I love you nonnie. Gone but never forgotten.”

Maliea Pouesi- "Since young, Nons been there to protect me. She loved all of us unconditionally, and I'll forever miss our conversations."

Roni Pouesi- "She loved us more than anything, her grandkids meant the world to her."

Alexia Hall- "My grandma was one of the strongest people I know. I will miss her good humor."

Aubrey Fiorini- "I'll always remember the times when we did gardening, arts, and crafts together. I will miss laughing with my grandma and making things together."

A memorial service to honor and celebrate Carol's life will be held on :

October 4, 2024, at 11:00  AM at Tahoma National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her beloved husband Rodney Fiorini.

We ask you to please refrain from wearing any fragrances or any type of smells due to daughters sensitivities and severe allergic reactions. The celebration of life will be for immediate family only following services.

Carol touched many lives and we invite all who knew her to share this time of remembrance.

It is difficult to imagine a world without Carol's vibrant spirit, but we find comfort in knowing that she is at peace and Forever Dancing In The Rain. Her legacy will live on in each life she touched, and our love for her will never fade. We will miss Carol deeply and remember her always.

Her favorite prayer:

The Footprints In The Sand...

"One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the LORD.

Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.

In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.

Sometimes there were two sets of footprints,

other times there were one set of footprints.

This bothered me because I noticed

that during the low periods of my life,

when I was suffering from

anguish, sorrow or defeat,

I could see only one set of footprints.

So I said to the LORD,

“You promised me LORD,

that if I followed you,

you would walk with me always.

But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life

there have only been one set of footprints in the sand.

Why, when I needed you most, you have not been there for me?”

The LORD replied,

“The times when you have seen only one set of footprints in the sand,

is when I carried you.”

Let this be a reminder of our LORD's  greatest love unto us, that we will never walk alone,  and now with another angel to walk beside us.
