Carol

Was a lover of all people, places, and food.

I met her while working at SFO and whenever I travelled on Hawaiian Airlines, she made me feel so incredibly special.

Later, she became my right hand as we led HAL SFO to become one of their top stations.

She took it upon herself to privately go to each pax in the first cabin to mahalo and send them off with aloha.

That was Carol - she looked haole but was a true Hawaiian with a deep aloha heart.

As I’m sure she has touched each and everyone here. She made us giggle and laugh without effort. Every trip we took was made better with Carol being part of it. I loved the scenery of Maine, Boston, Alaska, Texas, Hawaii. She loved to visit the “the aisles of grocery stores”. She was a devout Spam worshipper and would hoard cans of spam under her bed or in her bedroom closet.

She will always make us smile and even giggle with her memories. She changed my life for the better.

I can hear her now.. as she’s rounding up her heavenly family and friends… she’s got them giggling and smiling!

Carol is our sister by heart. And she will always remain there.

Sending my condolences. I will miss Carol and her stories every time I go to work at the port. 

Carol and I attended Roosevelt High School in Honolulu.   We met again through Apollo123sf.   We'd sing our School's Alma Mater.  I'd laugh when she'd tell me that she bought loads of spam and Aloha Shoyu to bring back to California. 

Carol lived the Aloha Spirit and spread peace and love.   I miss her.

I was so sorry to hear about Carol's passing. She was such a bright light , so caring and thoughtful.  I enjoyed working with her over the years at the Pier.  Carol will certainly be missed .
