Carol Lucas Custer, 73, of Collegeville, PA, passed away on March 5, 2022 after a short, but hard-fought battle with lung cancer. Carol was born on December 18, 1948 to William and Ruth (Foley) Lucas in Patterson, NJ. After graduating from Walt Whitman High School (Bethesda, MD) in 1966, she went on to study chemistry and then philosophy/religion at Ursinus College. While in college, she met Steven Custer, and they wed in 1969, going on …
