To the family of mother Carnell Rogers I am praying for you all. Mother Rogers was like a grandmother to me. I loved talking with her, visiting and taking her places. I admired her steadfastness. She was faithful to God. She worked in her church as a Stewardess and was on duty even at 102. She was vocal in church meeting, community affairs and active in socials at the Brookedale Senior Assist. Living where she resided. She loved gardening, painting, and sewing. She often cooked delicious greens. She twice gave me some greens to plant in my garden. I enjoyed her stories about the past. We would laugh and talk for hours. Before I signed off with her , I would say, "I love you." I'm glad I talked to her the night before she passed. I will miss those special moments I shared with her. Mother Rogers was loved by many. May she rest in peace. And, God bless all Mrs Rogers family and loved ones. Yolanda Anthony
