Carmen Romero Montanez passed away peacefully in her sleep after a long battle with kidney failure. Mrs. Montanez was born in Guadalajara, Mexico. She migrated with her family and 6 siblings to the USA in hopes of a better future. Mrs. Montanez worked in lemon packing while going to school to become an ESL ( English As A Second Language) teach to help other migrant students reach their aspirations, having understood the challenges that they …
