Carmen Angel Martinez , born September 22,1959. Passed away on May 21, 2021, surrounded by her friends and family. Carmen was born in Chicago Illinois  and raised in Bakersfield , she  immediately brought joy and laughter into the world. Carmen went on to meet the love her life in Bakersfield at the age of 18,  it was love at first sight from that day they were inseparable. After graduating from high school, Carmen went on to pursue a life with her now husband Jose Martinez.  She fell in love with Jose, they were all they even knew in love. Carmen and Jose were married for over twenty years and had four children. Carmen was a fiercely dedicated mom to all of her children, raising all four of them to go on to accomplish great things. Family came first and was above all else to Carmen a value she instilled in all those around her. The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill. 

"I can do all things through Him who strengthens me."  You will always be in our hearts my love and your will only grow stronger as we meet again in heaven- from your children Jaimie, cole,Alice, mark. 

Life without you will not be the same you are the perfect painted picture of a grandmother and you will always be missed and loved - from your grandchildren Jeremy, Janeliz, marian, Allison.
