Carmelo's obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of my father, a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
My father was born in Puerto Rico and raised in New York, in the Bronx, where he grew up and later built his life through hard work and determination. In his younger years, he lived a carefree life and loved the water. He enjoyed having a boat and spending time with family and friends, making memories that we will cherish forever.
He was a hardworking man and a skilled carpenter by trade. He spent many years working with his hands, building and fixing things, always providing for his family and teaching us the value of hard work, responsibility, and taking pride in what you do.
Later in life, he moved to Florida, where he spent his later years surrounded by family. Above everything else, he was a family man. His children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were his pride and joy, and he loved us all very much.
He was the proud father of four children — three sons and one daughter — a loving grandfather to five grandchildren, and a great-grandfather to five great-grandchildren. He was also a loving brother who cared deeply for his family.
My father lived a full life, worked hard, loved his family, and did things his own way. He leaves behind a legacy of strength, love, and family that will live on through all of us.
We will miss him more than words can express, but we will carry his memory with us always.
With love,His Son and Family
