Carlton is survived by his fiancee, Machaila Wilkes of Bennettsville, South Carolina; his mother, Susan Byrd of Richmond, Virginia; three brothers, Dennis Gary Sr. of Amelia, Virginia; James Kamosky of Amelia, Virginia; Keith Gary of Richmond, Virginia and one sister, Jennifer Gary of Richmond, Virginia.
