Carlton is survived by his fiancee, Machaila Wilkes of Bennettsville, South Carolina; his mother, Susan Byrd of Richmond, Virginia; three brothers, Dennis Gary Sr. of Amelia, Virginia; James Kamosky of Amelia, Virginia; Keith Gary of Richmond, Virginia and one sister, Jennifer Gary of Richmond, Virginia. Two daughters, Coralyn Gary of Midlothian, Virginia and Madalyn Wilkes of Bennettsville, South Carolina. Three nephews, Dennis Gary Jr.(Amber) of Henrico, Virginia; Joshua Gary of Midlothian, Virginia and James Gary of Midlothian, Virginia. He is preceded in death by his father, Marion Garcin Gary Jr.
Carlton was born on September 9, 1976 in Richmond, Virginia. Carlton was accomplished at playing the saxophone. He was a witty individual who loved life. He enjoyed driving his corvette and riding his Harley Davidson. He worked in the home improvement business for several years.
A funeral is not planned. A memorial service will be held. Details to follow.
