Took me a while to write this. SO many emotions and things I want to say. The most important thing I can say is thank you. Thank you for being the best father you could be and teaching me so much. I will cherish all of the memories we have because they helped to make me who I am. Thank you for the rides to school. Thank you for all of the amazing meals you cooked. Thank you for all the movies and sam ash visits. Thank you for taking me to my first concert. Most of all thank you for the gift of music. Thank you for giving me my first bass and teaching me how to play it. You are a great man and I love you very much. I could write on and on about all of the things I am grateful for but you already know pops.

I love you dad. I hope I make you proud

Carlton knew where the cookie jar was in my kitchen as soon as he could walk. The big bear in the chair in my living room was his friend. Spending time with him during his youth was my greatest pleasure. His gift for music was innate, and I loved sharing with him. I will miss him. Always kind and loving, the world will never be the same because of the difference my godson made. In loving memory of someone very special.  Prayers of peace and comfort to the family.  "He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds" Psalm 147:3  Always in my heart, your godmother, Eileen.
