Carlos's obituary
Carlos was raised by his dad Filiberto and mother Annie, in Houston, TX. He was a basketball lover from the beginning and all over a huge Houston sports fan. He was a Houstonian and proud of it. Those who knew Carlos, knew that he was a gentle giant but also a protector when he needed to be. He may not have always said it, but you could feel his love in his smile, his hugs and by his actions. Carlos was a hard worker, and he sacrificed to make sure his son's had everything they needed and wanted. He had a love for family and his heart beat for his children. You could usually find Carlos on the weekend grilling out with family and his friends. He was a big brother to his brothers and sisters, but he became everyone's big brother. Carlos was a reliable, loyal and trustworthy man with a big heart. His departure came too soon, leaving our hearts shattered.
Carlos is survived by his two sons Isaiah and Nathan Garcia.
He leaves behind his mother Annie, his dad Filiberto, his brothers Roy and Celestino, his sisters Anna and Melissa.
This is a reminder for those he loved:
Don't cry for me. I will be okay.
Heaven is my home now, and this is where I'll stay.
Don't cry for me. I'm where I belong.
I want you to be happy and try to stay strong.
Don't cry for me. It was just my time,
but I will see you someday on the other side.
Don't cry for me . I am not alone .
The angels are with me to welcome me home.
Don't cry for me, for I have no fear.
All my pain is gone, and Jesus took my tears.
Don't cry for me. This is not the end.
I'll be waiting here for you when we meet again.
