Carlos's obituary
He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Erlinda Domingo. Loving father of Marites (Raul) Bonifacio of Dallas, Texas, Edgar (Emily) Domingo of Scarsdale, New York, and Carlos Domingo, Jr. of North Las Vegas. Proud and loving grandfather of Raul Jr., Richard and Mariah Bonifacio, Marian Ytem, and Isabel and Olive Domingo, and great-grandfather of Juliet Bonifacio.
He is also survived by his sisters Carmen (Jacob) Baltazar Bock, Elizabeth (Ernesto) Tan and Rosario (Jay) Ingersoll, brother Guillermo (Elizabeth) Domingo, Jr., and sister-in-law Maria Domingo, along with many, many loving nieces and nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews. Carlos was preceded in death by his parents Guillermo and Carmen Domingo, as well as his brother Pierre Domingo.
Born and raised in the Philippines, Carlos graduated from Letran College with a degree in mechanical engineering. He emigrated to New York in 1970 and shortly thereafter married the love of his life Erlinda. They soon moved to Dallas, Texas where he became a proud and industrious business owner, and where they raised their family. Forever the provider, he presided over his business and was a friend and resource to so many in his community. In 2003 he relocated to Nevada where his youngest son had moved, and to be closer to his brothers and sisters in California.
Tireless behind the wheel, he subjected his family to countless road-trip vacations over the years, driving everywhere from California to Florida and all points in between. He loved nothing more than to sit amongst family and friends and tell and listen to stories, alternatingly trying to frighten and delight any children who had the fortune to be in his presence. His smile and laugh were infectious and he will be greatly missed by all.
