Carla Darellen Patterson age 53 of Charlotte, TN entered into Eternal Life with her family by her side on February 6, 2024. She was born in Hamilton, OH on November 2, 1970 to Carlos Moore and Mary McRoberts. She was a claims specialist at Anthem and Cigna and a graduate of Lakota East High School with some education in Culinary and Nutrition. Carla worshipped at New Freedom Church in Lebanon, Ohio, and Regeneration Nashville in Goodlettsville, Tennessee.

Carla was the most sweet and tenderhearted woman one could find, with her priorities centered on God and her family. She had a beautiful smile and laugh. She enjoyed crafts, restoring furniture, outdoor activities like hiking, camping, fishing, and boating, as well as spending quality time with her many cats and dogs and her beloved children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband Melvin Patterson, her father Carlos (Sandy) Moore, Stepsister Cari Long, her children Amber Cooper (Jarred) and Alec Patterson, stepchildren Amanda Patterson (Raymond), Ashley Patterson, and Seldon Patterson (Katy), along with her 11 grandchildren Diamond (Corey) Tucker, Jadon Tucker, Jazmyn Tucker, Ashton Aumann, Abby Aumann, Avery Tucker, Cairo Patterson, Jensen Patterson, Josiah Sampson, Matthew Michael Sampson, and Manoah Sampson. Carla was preceded in death by her son, William "Billy" Rigsby, sister Jane Johnson, mother Mary McRoberts, stepbrother Brian Blackwell and Aunt Marlene.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on May 4th, 2024, at 11:00 am at New Freedom Church, 840 Miller Rd, Lebanon, OH 45036. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Susan G. Komen foundation.
