Carla Ann Kelly (LeGrand), 71, was called to eternal rest on July 1, 2024, in St. Augustine, FL. Born on November 8, 1952, in Jacksonville Beach, FL, Carla lived a life exemplified by her deep faith and humble spirit. She devoted her life to serving and helping others. She along with her husband was a Sunday school teacher for 2 years for 6-8 year olds and was a children's pastor for over 15 years. In one 5 year period, Carla and her family took in 241 homeless people and helped them get a fresh start.

She is lovingly remembered by her brothers; David Legrand, Ron LeGrand and Richard LeGrand; her sister, Barbara Cockrell; sons, Charles Kelly Jr. and Johnny Kelly; her daughter, Jeanette Kelly; her adored grandchildren, Michael, David, Ashley, John, Hunter, Brooke, Beau, and Brennan Kelly; and her cherished great-grandchildren. Carla's legacy is one of quiet strength, selfless love, and joy.

A memorial service to honor Carla's devout life will be held on Monday, July 15th at 11 am at Church on the Rock Ministries, 2995 Varella Ave, St. Augustine, FL 32084. The family welcomes all who were touched by Carla's grace and kindness to gather in fellowship and remembrance.

In her gentle way, Carla taught us the power of living a life in service to others, the importance of cherishing every moment, and the infinite value of walking humbly with our God. Her memory will be enshrined in the hearts of those she met and will serve as a guiding light to all who seek to honor her by living a life of compassion. May she rest in peace in the heavenly kingdom, of her eternal home.
